Triumph Daytona 955i 2003 Pair of Front Forks

Removed from a very clean, currently MOT'd,'one owner', 2003 Triumph Daytona 955i with 26834 miles on the clock; a bike which was running well prior to dismantling (the actual bike is pictured, and a short video is featured below)................ These forks are straight , with no pitting of the chrome within the sweep of the seals. The top and bottom slotted adjusters turn easily. The dust seals look recent. I wasn't 100% sure there wasn't the slightest of misting of the chrome on repeated compression of the RHS fork. One point of note is that I was surprised to find that the RHS fork is quite markedly more difficult to compress than the LHS fork. I struggled to get much more than 1.5 inches of travel on the RHS fork under manual compression (and I'm 19st in weight).

The LHS fork was easier to compress, and I could get it to compress a couple of inches. I was quite surprised by this. I would say the RHS fork compression is'hard' whilst the LHS fork is'normal'. Both forks look of similar visual wear etc, so I don't think a fork has been replaced....
