Triumph Daytona t955i Centennial Edition

Lovely example of this limited edition t955. The centennial edition added extra carbon fibre, a single sided swing arm, colour coded seat hump and the full 147bhp engine which was used in later models. In addition, this bike also has pazzo levers for clutch and brake (the originals are designed for giants), dark screen, and a scottoiler. It has a road legal aftermarket titanium silencer which isnt loud but shows off the distinctive triple howl and offers a great weight saving on the (included) stock system. The bike is also datatagged.

The chain and sprockets are in fine fettle as are the Bridgestone tyres, with plenty of tread. The last MOT and service suggested the rear pads were getting low. A new set are included with the sale.

The front disks arent scored and dont have a lip. It lives in a dry garage on a battery charger and is only ridden through the summer months.

Bundles of paperwork and service history show how well its been cared for. This is evident in the ride - it starts on the button, pulls strongly and stops well. It does have a few age related marks, but nothing to detract from the overall appearance of the bike.

The front nose fairing appears to have had some paint at some point, and that can be seen when exposed to strong sunlight - the pearl in the paint seems to show the green more readily than the factory paint. Ive tried to show that in the pictures.

I had planned to have it repainted but since its not very noticeable, it just didnt seem worth it. Edited to add information that people have requested. Q When were the valve clearances checked? A I'm not sure, though it was serviced by Triumph main dealers until 14,000 (and independants since, so I can't see it being skimped on).

Q How old are the chain/sprockets. A About 18 months and around 1000 miles.

Q How much left on the tyres? A They've been used for about 2000 miles. They're not super soft compounds (it is a sports tourer after all), so there's plenty of tread left.
