Triumph Daytona 955i VGC

Triumph Daytona 955i, from 2003, in very good condition, as pictures will show. There is a reserve - it is less that 2k. Always been kept in garage. Hasn't been out on salty roads. Other than upgrading the charging system, all I've had to do is service it - well and ride it.

It's never missed a beat. I've had it nearly 3 years now, done roughly 6000 miles, and it's time for a change. Rode it right up until end of October, and sorned it on 1st Nov. There is a service history up to 31k, stamped in Triumph book - a mass of paperwork, spare keys, and the Triumph owners manual. Cosmetic: Very nice bike, paintwork has a some stone chips around the front because it's been ridden - but paint and fairings are still all original and no nasty scratches or scrapes.

It's not perfect but excellent for it's age. Mechanical: Mechanically sound, runs great, very fast, and doesn't leak oil. Only done on the 2002 model (which I think mine must be, even though it was registered in 03).

Non-standard handlebar setup for a different riding position done by previous owner. I like it so I kept it. The original clip ons are here, if you want - as is the orig. Exhaust (although that one is a good deal heavier).

Electrics: Always starts Reg/rec & wiring upgraded during MY ownership - and new battery this summer. Mosfet FH020 Reg/Rec - Furukawa connectors. Alternator straight to Reg/Rec with 14/12 AWG cable. Reg/Rec straight to battery with inline fuse (bypassing fusebox) - higher grade cable, delphi metripack 630 waterproof fuseholder.

Aftermarket indicators front and rear, a little more streamlined - and a custom LED tail light replacing the massive dome. The originals are here if you want original, and the original wiring and connectors for the old light is behind the new one.

Heated grips installed but haven't worked during my ownership - haven't ridden in winter anyway. Horn wants looking at - it was still working at it's last MOT but noticed it failing over the summer. Tyres good - Chain & Spr. Good - Brake pads & disks good.

Rear disk mentioned at MOT as having pitting. There is absolutely no finance on the bike - it was bought with cash from a reputable local garage for which I have paperwork and contact details. If you want the reg no. This is to protect me. I can not deliver this bike.
