Triumph Daytona 955i 1999-spares or repair. Triumph Daytona 955i converted to a kind of cafe racer style. Good condition for year with 30,945 miles on the clock. Has 6 months left on the MOT with no advisories and the valve clearances have been checked and adjusted. Is ridden regularly and rides great however there are a couple of issues you should be aware of.
The engine idle is high (2-2.5k) , have replaced the 3 idle air intake tubes and cleaned the stepper motor but to no avail, probably an easy fix for someone in the know. Also the left side lug on the fuel tank had a small leak which Ive now plugged, you cant attach the corner of the seat unit though, see photo, aesthetically its not really noticeable. Its had a recent oil and filter change , chain and sprockets and new plugs.
Ive greased the eccentric hub which often seizes if not maintained. Theres tons of paperwork , service receipts etc and 3 stamps in the book up to 16k. Sale will also include the old bodywork minus the screen. Ive tried to be as honest as possible in the description and it will be missed but bad back forces sale!
