2001 Triumph Daytona 955i
Up for sale is my 2001 registered Triumph Daytona 955i. I've owned this bike for just over 4 years now and still love riding it when the time allows me as they have such a character to them. The main thing I've done to the bike since owning is hand polished the frame and swing arm, the original silver finish that was on the chassis never done it for me and just love the rawness of the metal yet sparkle it brings to the bodywork. Being an 18yr old British bike she's certainly no minter but in my opinion she's in a lovely original condition. The main things I would point out is the rear shocks on these old Daytona's look a bit crispy with age, there's a couple of age related cracks in the belly pan (they're down so low you can barely see them) and as seen in the pics of the cockpit you'll notice some powder coat has flecked off the base of the left mirror support stem.
The bike is MOT'd until 17th August this year and had a new Triumph oil filter and oil change within the last 100 miles so ready to go for a new owner to get and hear this big old triple howl through the air box if you've never ridden one you'll be in love with it as sounds like an old school v12 motor! Original handbooks to go with the bike and some paperwork too, genuine reason for sale but will honestly miss this one as a beautiful and classy bike that always gets attention when out on her.
